Privacy notice
What we keep, why we keep it, and how you get it back or get it deleted.
Short, because we collect very little.
Who is responsible
Erasmus Life Athens, Athens, Greece, is the data controller for this website. You can reach us at erasmuslifeathens@gmail.com or on +30 697 251 8185.
What we collect
Only what a form asks for: your name, your email and your phone number, plus the message you choose to write and the slot, trip, event or property code the request refers to. Nothing else — no date of birth, no ID number, no payment details. We do not take card details anywhere on this site.
Why we may keep it
- To hold the office slot, seat or viewing you asked for, and to contact you if something changes (contract / your request, Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
- On the consent you tick on each form, which you may withdraw at any time (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).
How long
Requests are kept for the academic year they belong to and are then deleted, unless you ask us to delete them sooner.
Who else sees it
Only the Erasmus Life Athens crew members who run the office. Your details sit in our own database on our own hosting — we do not sell them, we do not share them for advertising, and we do not transfer them outside the EU. If a housing viewing needs the owner to know you are coming, we tell them your first name and nothing more without asking you first.
Analytics and cookies
This site measures its own traffic with a privacy-first, self-hosted counter. It sets no tracking cookie, builds no profile of you, follows you to no other website, and sends nothing to Google, Meta or any advertising network. Because there is no tracking to consent to, there is no cookie banner. The only things stored in your browser are the language you picked and, if you use it, the stamp tray on this device — both stay in your browser and never reach us.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of everything we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or withdraw your consent — write to erasmuslifeathens@gmail.com and we answer within one month. If you think we handled your data badly, you may complain to the Hellenic Data Protection Authority (dpa.gr).
Children
This site is for university students. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.
